Employee engagement

Seeking and valuing our employees’ input is critical to maintaining engagement. To that end, we survey our workforce to collect feedback and gauge satisfaction, and we actively use this information to help guide the company’s direction. In addition, we promote employee engagement through educational and training opportunities, management/leadership development, a collaborative annual performance review process, and an open-floor workspace that facilitates cooperation and allows ready access to executive management.

A global focus on safety

A sense of safety is a critical element of strong communities. Ambarella helps make the world’s communities safer through the development of cutting-edge automotive and security technologies. Our automotive products make our roadways safer by enabling autonomous driving functionality as well as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), while our security products provide enhanced image quality and intelligence for millions of cameras across the world that make homes, businesses, airports, intersections, and many other locations safer.

Highlights

  • Many of our products are compliant with ASIL (Automotive Safety Integrity Level), a stringent risk classification system defined by the ISO 26262 standard for the functional safety of road vehicles.

  • Our physical security products enable more accurate risk assessments and faster responses by bringing AI inside of cameras, rather than waiting for processing by distant servers.

Community outreach

We recognize our essential connection to the communities where we live and work. In that spirit, Ambarella partners with leading organizations, both locally and globally, to help improve the world around us. Our employees donate their time and resources to the nonprofit organizations they care about, often with company matching.
