ASIC Design Engineer (job#120201)

Position Responsibilities:
- Developing micro-architecture specifications for a next generation media processor.
- Designing and implementing video compression logic, image processing logic and processor cores in Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Synthesize and optimize RTL for timing, area and power.
- Developing frontend methodologies and tool flows.
- Participating in chip bringup.
Requirements :
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 0-5 years of experience.

Verification Engineer (job#120202)
Location : Santa Clara, CA
Position Responsibilities:
- Developing testbenches for DSP logic blocks, processor cores, coprocessor cores, and other digital logic devices in SystemVerilog, C and C++.
- Writing test plans for the above mentioned DUT-s (Design Under Test).
- Writing and debugging tests for the above mentioned DUT-s using SystemVerilog, Perl, Assembly, C, C++ and possibly other languages. Writing Random Test Generators to automatically and intelligently generate the bulk of tests. Writing coverage monitors to evaluate the coverage of the DUT-s.
- Writing system level tests for next generation chips.
- Participating in chip bringup.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate possesses a master’s degree in EE or CS.
- Versatile and skilled both in Verilog/SystemVerilog as well as C/C++/Perl and Assembly.

DSP Software Engineer (job#120203)

Job Description :
We are hiring a software engineer with training and experience in computer architecture and software systems to join our software modeling group. This role provides critical assistance to our reference model development. The successful candidate hired for this position works closely with both algorithm development and software modeling teams. The position is responsible for the following:
- Develop and optimize a reference model of our digital processing techniques for both windows and linux platforms.
- Implement new algorithm flows and use-cases required for future products of our company.
- Ensure that hardware supports required use-cases during the design and verification stages of our chips.
- Integrate micro-architecture details of the algorithm into the reference model.
- Verify that silicon also implemented all required features through writing use-case tests
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with courses in signal processing or Bachelors of Science with experience in the related field.
- Excellent C++ programming skills and familiar with object-oriented programming techniques.
- Proficient in cross-compiling programs in both Visual C++ 2010 and GNU linux building environments.
- Strong communicator able to describe complex algorithms clearly and efficiently.
- Self-Motivated with a passion for image and video processing.
