We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join our video encoder group. The candidate will participate in the development of embedded software for our next generation professional and consumer IP camera and automotive codec chips.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and test microcode that controls the video capture, preprocessing, encoding, and transcoding pipelines.
- Chip bring up and testing
- Measure the performance of the microcode system and identify ways to improve it on a multi-thread/multi-core platform.
- Create test and debugging tools for both internal and external customers.
- Interact with marketing and customers to understand requirements for new feature requests.
- Translate algorithms implemented in reference model environment to microcode with respect to how the chip is designed
- College degree in EE, CS, or Mathematics or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years hands-on experience software development.
- Well versed in software engineering processes and understand how to develop and debug firmware for custom ASICs.

Financial SOX Compliance and Control Specialist (job#130513)
Location : Santa Clara, CA
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform a risk assessment and design SOX infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain the SOX framework/guidance
- Review the company’s existing controls and create proper SOX process documentation.
- Ensure proper SOX documentation is kept up to-date for scoping, testing, and remediation of all key control activities
- Perform walkthroughs in order to create / update process documentation, including process work flows
- Identify process deficiencies and improvements and reports test results and proposed improvement plan
- Interface with appropriate employees and departments within the organization; eliciting, evaluating and considering solutions to align controls with business risks.
- Coordinate and manage the external audit of internal controls
Qualifications:
- A BA or BS in accounting or finance degree is required.
- CPA or CIA certification is preferred.
- Big 4 accounting background working with large, diverse organizations preferred.
- At least 5 years SOX related experience in a multinational company including implementation and modification of processes and work flows.
- Current knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, IFRS, SEC reporting, COSO and COBIT standards.
- Knowledge in SEC and GAAP reporting.
- A proactive approach to problem identification and remediation solutions
- Ability to work independently, completes work timely, and works well as a team member
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Strong documentation skills, including process flowcharting and policy and procedure documents.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
